My favorite memory involving the Delaware River was when I went to Fox Point State Park with my dad to practice photography a few years ago. It was a very sunny day, so the water had a beautiful bright blue hue that showed up nicely in photos. Before this trip, I had only seen the river while passing it on the highway on the way home from school. The Delaware River also has a special place in my heart because the high school I went to, Archmere Academy, is sort of named after it. When you stand at a certain spot in the patio, the trees in the distance form an arch, and you can see the river below that arch. Archmere basically means "arch to the sea."
